In which LD has become PF
More like CX
Oh topic #9. What was the committee thinking?
I really wish the #1 had been worded more precisely, and had specified a country. You can’t really discuss nuclear energy “as a whole” because, like someone said in the other thread, there’s a big difference between France and Syria. Now actual substantive affs will be hit with dumb T arguments nearly every round. Thanks topic committee!
I wrote a note to the topic committee a year ago about the necessity of precision and specificity in a lot of these topics. I take it that five United States topics this year is a step in the right direction (whereas there were only two last year).
Honestly, things getting more specific and focusing on the U.S. is more like PF or CX than LD :'(
All of these are terrible.
